MDC Rules
Ignore at your own risk. :)
About MDC (yes, this is on the homepage)
MDC is a dolling pageant devoted to fictional characters. It will consist
of three rounds which
will be scored individually by a combination of judge's scores and popular
vote. The winner will be declared at the end of the pageant, and will
be the person with the highest cumulative score. Each round will be announced at the end of the previous round.
There will be no eliminations.
Pageant Rules
- All dolls must be your own work (except for the base.) No frankendolling or drag-n-drop dolls.
- All dolls must fit the theme of the round they're entered in. Any entries that don't will be turned away.
- You must use the same base set for all three rounds, and you must credit the basemaker with your entry. Different poses are fine, and even encouraged.
- Baseless dolls are fine, as long as the body on all three entries looks similar.
- There is no maximum size for entries, but any base bigger than Foxy Republic's Bebe base is probably too big. Minimum size is however small you want to go.
- Don't enter any premade dolls. All your entries must be made specifically for the round they're entered in.
- I (Pentatonikk) reserve the right to turn away or disqualify entries based on these rules.
Reservation Rules (yes, these are on the Reservations page)
- Reservations are on a first-come, first-serve basis. No exceptions.
- You may reserve any fictional female character that isn't already reserved. This means no real-life celebrities and no men. Aliens, however, are fine.
- Characters must be from a published book, movie, TV show, anime, manga, play, etc. In other words, you can't have made the character up.
- You may reserve up to three characters.
- If you don't think you can finish an entry, please withdraw your reservation so somebody else can have it.
- I (Pentatonikk) reserve the right to turn down any reservations that don't follow these rules.
